Petition for Pedestrian Crossing on Alma Road

Many residents have raised concerns about safely crossing Alma Road. In response, I asked Transport for NSW to conduct a traffic review, which led to the speed limit being reduced from 60km/h to 50km/h last December.

Building on this, I have been working closely with Council to advocate for a raised pedestrian crossing near the Alma Road shops to further improve safety and accessibility.

Council has now applied for funding through the Get Active NSW Grant Program, with an outcome expected later this year.

Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to raise these concerns. I will continue to advocate for this important safety upgrade and keep you updated on any progress.

If you haven’t already, please sign the petition for a pedestrian crossing on Alma Road.
